It is a biocompatible mineral primer consisting of a modified potassium silicate solution, compliant with DIN 18363. It acts as a regulator of subbase absorption and, in the presence of micro-cracks, restores cohesion. Its use prepares the surface to receive the finishing coat, contributing to its durability and final appearance.
KAPPASIL FONDO is specifically designed for the preparation of poorly cohesive, highly absorbent or particularly inhomogeneous subbases. Carrying out an action that evens out absorption and consolidates micro-cracks, it prepares surfaces to receive the finishing coat. It can be applied on different types of subbases, vertical and horizontal, internal and external, both new and existing such as: rustic plaster of any type and nature lime and/or cement based. Absolutely avoid application on plaster subbases.
