BIO 130

It is a Biocompatible Eco Plaster, pre-packaged in powder form for interior and exterior use in accordance with UNI EN 998-1.

BIO 130 is totally free of cement and compounds belonging to the clinker group. It consists of a mixture of pure limestone sands, screened with a continuous grain size range from 0 to 1.6 mm. The only binder included is Pure Natural Hydraulic Lime NHL 5 in accordance with UNI EN 459-1. NHL 5 lime, white in colour, is produced by firing siliceous limestones at temperatures below 1,250° C and reduced to powder by the extinguishing of calcium oxide alone, without the addition of pozzolanic materials or hydraulic binders of any kind.

Fields of application

BIO 130 is specifically designed for plastering in the new-build sector where, as a rule, thicknesses are constant and limited. It is therefore recommended for an application of no more than approx. 2.5 cm directly on vertical and horizontal surfaces consisting of solid brick, load-bearing hollow bricks, light hollow bricks, mixed bricks, stone and tuff. For all compact or poorly absorbent surfaces, such as solid or hollow concrete blocks and expanded clay granules, cellular conglomerate blocks, lime or cement-based subbases, reinforced concrete or magnesium wood structures, the use of BIO 130 must be preceded by the application of SPRIZZO PONTE DI ADESIONE.
